These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Bua PT ("the app", "we", "us"), a personal training and nutrition app operated by Niall O'Connell. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Bua PT is intended for adults aged 18 and over. By using the app you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement.
Bua PT provides general fitness and nutrition guidance for informational and educational purposes only. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for consultation with a qualified doctor, dietitian, or other healthcare professional. The training programs, meal plans, calorie and macronutrient targets, and coaching feedback are generated automatically and are general in nature.
You should consult a physician before beginning any exercise or nutrition program, particularly if you have a pre-existing medical condition, are pregnant, are taking medication, or have any concerns about your health. Stop exercising and seek medical attention if you experience pain, dizziness, or discomfort.
Physical exercise and dietary changes carry inherent risks, including injury. You participate voluntarily and accept full responsibility for your own health, safety, and results. You are responsible for exercising within your own limits and using proper form and equipment.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please provide accurate information during the consultation and check-ins so the app can generate an appropriate program for you. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
You agree to use the app only for its intended purpose and lawfully. You must not:
You retain ownership of the content you create, such as progress photos and posts. If you choose to share a transformation post, you grant us a licence to display that content within the app so it can be shown to other users. Sharing is always optional and initiated by you. You are responsible for the content you share, and you confirm you have the right to share it. Posts may be reported by other users and hidden following reports. You can delete your posts at any time. We may remove content that breaches these Terms.
The app, its design, and its content (excluding content you provide) are owned by Niall O'Connell and are protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use the app for your own personal use. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works from the app without permission.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee any specific fitness, weight, or health outcome — results depend on many factors outside our control, including your own effort, consistency, and individual circumstances. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any injury, loss, or damage arising from your use of the app or reliance on its guidance. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including your statutory consumer rights.
You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the app in a way that could harm other users or us. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent version. Material changes will be communicated in the app. Your continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. This does not deprive you of any mandatory consumer protections available under the law of your country of residence.
